Angie & Duonon’s Summer Wedding at Villa Montalvo

One of my favorite moments of a wedding day is in the morning, as the couples get ready. It is such a peaceful and intimate moment to capture. Angie was with her closest friends, who helped her get into her beautiful gown. The ladies wore chiffon gowns in a dusty lilac color. And Angie wore a beautiful ball gown, with soft flutter sleeves, and a hint of sparkle. Duonon wore a classic black tuxedo, with a black bowtie.

Angie and Duonon met through Coffee Meets Bagel and were long-distance for most of their relationship. For their wedding, they wanted to make it an incredible day for their family and friends. It was all about having an amazing time, and enjoying this time together! They chose one of my favorite venues in Northern California, Villa Montalvo!

Summer Wedding at Villa Montalvo

Villa Montalvo is a little piece of Italian bliss in the Bay Area. The couple fell in love with all of the spaces around the property. They chose the Italianate Garden for their intimate ceremony. The open-air Pavillion was covered in gorgeous flowers, by Flora + Flour. After the couple said their vows, guests walked over to the courtyard for an al-fresco cocktail hour. I just love how this space is inspired by Mediterranean architecture. The team at JMK Events worked to design this incredible day and made sure the thoughtful details all came together.

As the sunset over the picturesque lawn, I captured the newlywed couple. This couple was completely joyous on their wedding day, and dance all day long! From the moment of their first look to the dance floor. Guests enjoyed the beautiful reception on the veranda. The tables were set in soft cream linens, with handpicked flower centerpieces. The flowers were a highlight of this day. Flora + Fleur chose beautiful shades of cream, apricot, peach, and pink.

I just absolutely adored this couple, and being there to photograph their beautiful day! I can’t wait to hear from you, and your dream wedding.
