Holiday Session at Villa Montalvo in collaboration with K. Saw Weddings
I planned this Villa Montalvo holiday session with my good friend Katrina Saw, a.k.a the talented wedding planner behind K. Saw Weddings! It is so fun to shoot these holiday minis with families. Each session lasts just 25 minutes and yields about 15-20 photos that are perfect for your holiday card and for cherishing for years to come.
Villa Montalvo Holiday Session
The day of this session was so enjoyable from start to finish! I got to see all of my favorite clients and their little loves at one of my favorite wedding venues, Villa Montalvo in Saratoga. We went for holiday glamour and rented a stunning vintage Porsche and placed it against the backdrop of the majestic villa. Our guests were encouraged to dress up, and they certainly delivered! From long elegant dresses to festive sweaters, my clients were encouraged to bring the holiday spirit into their wardrobe. We really got into the holiday spirit together.
This our first-ever holiday collaboration with K. Saw Weddings, and we learned a lot from the experience. For one, it was freezing cold on the day we chose. So, we’ll definitely have to factor that in next time and move the session to earlier in the year!
In addition to capturing some of my favorite families, I also got to take some headshots of my vendor friends Katrina and Marissa, our floral designer in action. Her company, The Wild Fleur Co, provided the gorgeous flowers featured in the session.
